This is Alix's story in her own words...

"I’ve been using the lotion bar since the 10th of May and I honestly cannot believe the difference in my skin. 

I’ve suffered with acne for over 10 years and have tried every skin product under the sun. I’ve been on antibiotics and even roaccutane... I’m so shocked at how quickly my skin has improved with the lotion bar!! 

The lotion bar was easy to use, I use it in the evening after cleansing with cetaphil and I’m so pleased with the results so far. 

There’s still plenty of the bar left and I intend to buy the bar again and again! 

Even small break outs I’ve had have been less inflamed since using the bar... I’m so grateful to Paula for letting me use the bar!!

I have had eczema my whole life and have had specific problems with the skin on my hands for around 10 years. I am a nurse and also have 2 young children so wash my hands often. My skin is nearly always dry and cracked to the point of bleeding, especially on my knuckles. This means I often can't fully bend my fingers. I also get splits on my fingerprints which are difficult to heal and can make even opening a bottle of water difficult/painful. 

Over the years I have used various moisturisers and have been prescribed emoĺlients and steroid creams. Although steroid creams can help, I don’t like relying on these and, until now, had not found a moisturiser that can give me relief from the itching, cracking and pain. 

I have lots of allergies including yeast, nuts, lanolin and various contact allergies . Many of the products I was trying contained ingredients I would react to. I heard about Beeswax Scotland through Facebook and contacted Paula to see if she could help. 

We did an online consultation where she asked about my skin and my allergies. 

From the information I shared, she was able to recommend a hemp seed oil bar. 

I received a sample for patch testing (4th Sept)before the full bar ~ No reaction  

Since using the bar (several times a day and definitely more in the first few days!) my hands have become much less cracked and dry. I have no cracks on my fingerprints and am able to fully bend all my fingers without pain or cracking, my skin feels more supple and soft too.

I have an autoimmune condition called Pyoderma Facialie and also Hidradenitis Suppurativa. I've suffered from HS since I was 15 and Pyoderma Facialie for the last 2 years. 

Since I was 15, it's been constant rounds of antibiotics and surgery to help with the HS. For the last 2 years and I have constantly been on antibiotics to help both conditions. They help, but as soon as I stop them, my conditions flare horrendously. 

A friend of mine then sent the link to the beeswax lotion bars as she knows what a desperate state I have been in. The pain I have from both conditions leaves me in tears... I am willing to try anything!

So, I sent Paula a message to ask if her products would be suitable for me. Within minutes I got a lovely reply asking me all sort of questions about my conditions. 

Paula then asked if I would like to take part in a “trial” as nothing had worked before and I jumped at the chance. My bar arrived 2 days later and I used it for the first time..

The bar itself is lovely to apply. Smooth and waxy it does leave you looking a bit shiny but it does absorb in nicely! Within a matter of hours, I noticed my face looking less red. 

Since then I've been using it twice a day and my skin has improved dramatically. I do get the odd wee spot here and there, but my colour of my skin looks almost completely normal! 

I love it!

I've also used it on my son who has chronic atopic dermatitis and his skin was less raw the next day.!

I'm absolutely amazed with this product and will continue to use it. I've came off my antibiotics since starting product and I feel better within myself too. 

I would recommend the lotion bar to anyone, what's the worst that could happen?

Ciaran is 6 years old (he'll tell you that he's nearly 7!) and since birth, he has suffered

Chronic Atopic Dermatitis. 

For as long as I can remember, it's been constant steroid creams ( I mean really strong ones like dermovate) being used before he was 2 year old. We've been "wet wrapping" Ciaran since he was 3 to try ease the dry, red, angry skin. 

Ciaran along with this, is also Epileptic and has Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder. Over the years it has proven more and more difficult for look after Ciaran’s skin as many of his creams would "hurt" him. We found this out because he is allergic to lanolin. 

Last week (Tuesday) we were down in Blackpool and the weather was glorious. Ciaran was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I noticed his skin getting more and more angry as the day went on. Recently we've noticed as soon as he's out in the sun, his skin gets worse! 

That night back at the hotel and once he was finally sleeping, I applied the Original Lotion Bar. The next morning, well, I couldn't believe the difference in him! I was shocked! 

I've been applying the lotion bar on Ciaran’s skin every day for a week now and the results blow me away (see photos!)

I’ve had troublesome skin since I was a teenager. I thought it was something that would pass with time but instead I ended up with painful and embarrassing cystic acne.
